Looking for the cutest birthday gift idea for a tween or teen girl? This easy printable project combines creativity, sweets, and a touch of sparkle all in one adorable candy bouquet! Our Printable Cupcake Birthday Gift Set makes it super simple to turn an ordinary gift card into an unforgettable birthday surprise.

✂️ What You’ll Need

Candy or other small treats
Cup or Vase
Scissors
Hot glue gun / glue sticks
Double-sided tape (to attach gift card)
Wooden kabob skewers
Party filler or tissue paper
Birthday Set PDF (from our shop!)

This project is both thoughtful and totally fun to make. Let's get started!

Grab some candy, a gift card, or other small treats.

I chose candy I knew the birthday girl liked as well as colors that I thought would look good in the bouquet. I chose mostly pink or purple candy from Dollar Tree and picked up some fun lip gloss from TJ Maxx.

Print and cut out the Cupcake Birthday Set.

Download the file here. Then print on card stock and cut out. You can print at home or at a local print shop such as Staples, Office Depot, UPS, etc. I usually upload to the Office Depot website and then pick up in store! After cutting, fold the bow to the middle and hot glue each end, then attach the tail by placing bow on top of tail and wrapping narrow piece around the bow, then secure with hot glue on back. Add bow to the top of the square present and attach your gift card with double-sided tape.

You can find wooden kabob skewers in the kitchen utensil area of Walmart or Dollar Tree, etc. I also added ribbon streamers to the cupcake and birthday flag to dress them up a little and add a little sparkle.

Add kabob skewers to all of your fun treats. Give them several minutes to dry laying flat before picking them up.

Arrange printables and treats into a bouquet.

Here comes the fun part! I added some party filler to a cute iridescent straw cup purchased at Walmart. You can use whatever kind of cup, vase, or container you like. Then I added each kabob skewer with taller items in the back and shorter items in front. I broke a few of the kabob skewers to make them shorter while arranging.

Ready to Celebrate!

Your DIY candy bouquet is ready to gift! It’s a bright, cheerful, and totally personalized way to say "Happy Birthday!" and perfect for tweens and teens who love cute surprises... and gift cards!
